Couples + Family Therapy
Sometimes you know exactly what the conflict is. Other times, you just know you’ve stopped finding your way back to each other.
You may:
keep having the same arguments, even when you both know where they lead
feel distant, misunderstood, resentful, or increasingly disconnected
struggle with communication, trust, intimacy, or emotional safety
be navigating infidelity, separation, parenting, blended-family dynamics, or a major transition
find yourselves falling into roles and patterns that are difficult to change
love one another and still not know how to make the relationship feel better
We work with all of this and more.
“The goal isn’t to decide who is right. It’s to understand what happens between you—and create another way of meeting each other.”
-Dr. Courtnay
We work with the relationship, not just the conflict.
Conflict is often the part we can see. Underneath it are the ways we reach for one another, pull away, protect ourselves, repeat old patterns, and try to feel understood. In couples and family therapy, we work with what is happening between you—not simply the issue you came in arguing about.
By slowing those patterns down, we can make room for more honesty, understanding, emotional safety, and different ways of relating.
