individual therapy

Sometimes there’s a clear reason you’re here. Other times, you just know something isn’t working.

You may:

  • understand yourself well and still find yourself caught in the same patterns

  • feel anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, or emotionally exhausted

  • struggle in relationships or finding it difficult to trust and connect

  • carry experiences from the past that still affect you

  • be moving through grief, loss, identity shifts, or a major life transition

  • move through daily life while feeling increasingly disconnected from yourself

We work with all of this and more.

You don’t need to know exactly what you need before you begin.

We start with experiencing the now.

He is smiling and dressed in a purple plaid shirt, blue jeans, and black sneakers with white soles. His left leg is crossed over his right knee, and he's resting his left arm on his left thigh.

Individual therapy, simply put.

Individual therapy is one-on-one psychotherapy with a therapist dedicated to you and your experience. Sessions offer a private space to talk openly about what’s happening in your life, understand yourself and your patterns more deeply, and work toward meaningful change.

One-on-one sessions
You’ll meet individually with your therapist in person or virtually.

55-minute sessions
Most sessions are 55 minutes unless you and your therapist decide otherwise.

Private + confidential
Your privacy is protected, and your therapist will review confidentiality and its legal limits with you before you begin.

At re:treat, we believe strongly in the relationship between therapist and client. When trust becomes established then safety can emerge. Once safety is present, the nervous system has the chance to regulate.

Therapy is a relationship before it is a method.
